Today was Aspen's last class for this first round of lessons. She has done great. She went from barely wanting to put her face in the water to jumping off the side of the pool unassisted, and now can actually swim on her own. She gets a little nervous when you aren't close by, but I think this summer she will be swimming like a fish. She is eager to start the next class which should start late winter. Hope you enjoy the video.

Our New Home!

Finally! Pictures of the new house. Well, of the outside anyway. Thad was sick last night with food poisoning or a stomach virus so the house is a wreck now. I will take inside pics this weekend hopefully after we decorate.
Also, I have posted some pictures of Aspen helping us preparing food for our party we had. She is quite the little chef!

Halloween and more!
For Halloween we took Aspen to Amelia's for some trick or treat fun. Aspen, Amelia, Vienna, and a few other neighborhood kids all went trick or treating together. It was a lot of fun. Natalie and Pablo organized a great potluck dinner. Thank you Valarezo family! We have such great friends.
Aspen has also begun taking swimming lessons. Her friend Ava is taking them with us. They have so much fun. Aspen is really learning a lot and has gotten really brave. I am so proud of her. Aready she is a much better swimmer than I am.
This slide show contains more birthday photos, pictures at a Harvest Fest with her Ma Ma and Pa Pa, Halloween, and swim lessons.

Aspen's 4th Birthday Party!
This year with all the chaos of moving, we decided it would be fun to have a birthday party with one of Aspen's dear friends, Ava. Ava's parents, Jaime and Phillip were gracious enough to host a costume party at their place. It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of people. Thad and Phillip set up a corndog station and were very busy filling everyones corndog requests. We all dressed up as short order cooks. Aspen was a witch and Ava was a princess. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Whether it was purchasing and delivering hay, picking up balloons, taking pictures, or babysitting eveyones help was greatly appreciated and thanks again to the Norton family for hosting it. They always do great partys! :) Here are some pictures of the day.
